The World Was A Busy Place Poem by Royston Allen

The World Was A Busy Place

No room, for the world was a busy place.
No room, for the Son of God to show His face.
But God had already found Himself a room
warm and cosy inside a young virgin's womb.

The conception of His Son had taken place
and now it was time for God to show His face.
As there, in a manger on the stable floor
God manifest in flesh the shepherds saw.

Then the heavens with a great chorus rang
as "Glory to the Highest, " the angels sang.
"Peace on earth and good will to all men."
"For Christ has been born in Bethlehem."
