Words are the love of my life

When the pain jolts, I write
When the gloom enfolds, I write
When the last thread of the dark night falls, I write

When the familiar bitterness haunts, I write
When melancholia enshrouds, I write
When nostalgia peeps through buried longings, I write

I glide with words
I thrive with words
I weave garlands with words
I twirl around with words

Words are my candy; my sugar plum
Words are my chocolate; my bubble gum
Words are my sun

Words release me
Words tease me
Words please me

I feel words
I breathe words
I believe in words

Touched by words, I am
Buried in words, I am
Lost in words, I am
