The mist that was
On the horizon
Has slowly moved
And reached our homes
Every other day
The news is told
One of our friends
Getting lost in its fold
The mist that was on the horizon
There is nothing to stop
Its silent progress
One can only hope
It is going to fade
We have closed our doors
We all stay indoors
But it silently seeps
Through the cracks and pores
The mist that was on the horizon
The sun meanwhile
Stays hidden away
The day looks dark
With an invisible sky
As we wait for our friends
To make an appearance
We assure each other
The mist is going to pass
The mist that was on the horizon

The world is going through a very difficult phase indeed. Hope the mist will go away soon so that people can move out. A very nice poem flowing beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
