The Zillionth Chapter In The Dialogue Of Black & White Poem by Denis Mair

The Zillionth Chapter In The Dialogue Of Black & White

Rating: 5.0

What kind of Picabian mania for indeterminate form?

cues to depth of field confounded...

sleight of hand between figure and ground...

cutaway spaces, shifted but not left out...

light from an unreal angle, implied by pearly shading...

letters suspended in the neighborhood of a prior grid...

reconstellating purely by feel...

alignment at the fault lines just a hair off

hints at a gathering rate of kinetic drift...

I spend hours each day poring over print...

never managing to break a single line...

this artist turns it all into a fantasy...

a page of print mediated by dreamwork...

a whole new chapter in the dialogue of black and white.
