Theme Choices Random Chance Poem by Terence George Craddock

Theme Choices Random Chance

theme choices random chance
moments of serene serendipity
anticipated fortuitous spontaneity

there was a time so long ago
when rarely I could have written
a wonderful heartwarming write
when I doubt I could have written
wonderful heartwarming well
even found time to write warmth well
found time for a heartwarming write
was not a priority on topic radar themes

time was precious time was urgent
time was too rare too limited
there were themes I needed to write
I had to write I tried to write
important themes in need of writing
as decades passed I wrote

a poem or two or more upon many such urgent themes
life themes I identified prioritised which whispered
screamed their themes to be need written with grateful heart
with a relieved heart if actually written if miracle written well
I can finally say a few beautiful heart warming poems were written
a few inspired by poet friends met along the way were insight

gift written; so much of our lives; which still survives
by poetry was written; into rich gold seams; in other lives
