There Aint No Coming Back

Rating: 4.0

As though to amend yesterday's mistake,
The sun does arise, as the mornings awake,
A chance to shine brighter and bolder, overshadow the fake,
But I am not so created, for when my breath does break,
There ain't no coming back misunderstandings to unmask
Ere I act or say I remember, its one life, and it is at stake.

The moon didn't enjoy being crescent last night,
So today it shines full, magnificent and bright,
A chance to live the life it wished while things were tight,
But I am not so created, for when chances come, though slight,
There ain't no coming back, by gone, out of sight,
Ere I hold back in fear I remember, it's one life, one fight.

The stars are born and die in the sky,
Each one its own story, time and space to ply,
A chance to show off despite the cry,
I think Iam so created, for when all around me shine and I feel dry,
Ere I complain I remember, it's one life, got to live right before I die.

What if life had a rehearsal platform?
Live anyhow, I will come back to make it right! ?
Or what it means to live I had a chance to test?
I think I would choose none, for having learnt my experience from,
There ain't no way to live right if I can't do it now,
Ere I let my mistakes pull me down I remember,
It's the rehearsal to life eternal, and the light is amber!
