All Day Poem by Nyagaka Charles

All Day

Rating: 4.0

If my life could be a midnight, I'd spend it counting the wonderful stars n drawing there numerous fabulous patterns...

If all my life were night, I'd spend all of it sleeping and dreaming about all my pals...

If every day in my life was dusk, I'd spend it waiting patiently for a time to sleep... and dream...

If all my life were evening, I'd spend it anguishing in weariness n thanking God it is always evening...

If it were all afternoon, I’d keep on the fight and work hard for I know soon evening may pop in...

If it were noon all life, I’d stay out basking in the glaring sun like a lizard...

If life were all morning, I’d spend it looking at the flowers, and thanking God 4 this blessing of a brilliant day...

If all life was dawn, I’d spend it praying and wishing u a good day, wishing that u may discard the attachment-curses that remain fixed to the package of blessings sent to you everyday!

Thank God all this has to happen daily, so I avoid complaining why I can't do the other!
