There Flows By The Hilly Rivulet Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

There Flows By The Hilly Rivulet

In between the hills
There flows a hilly rivulet
Crossing over
The highlands and the downlands
And the rocky bottoms somewhere
To join the river
And on the banks
Somewhere lie it the ashes
Of the hamlet men cremated,
But the rivulet
With a murmur and flow of its
Goes babbling by,
Flowing on
To join the downward stream
With a musical murmur
The hilly rivulet
Away from human haunt
Into the wild space.
