There Just Ain't No Pleasing Some People Poem by soren Barrett

There Just Ain't No Pleasing Some People

You brought me a present, why couldn't it be two, its a pretty green, my favorite color is blue
I remember when you gave me a diamond ring, I wished it were larger, not such a puny thing
Bought me a car all leather inside but beside a small scratch the tires are too wide
Took me out to a five star restaurant to dine, why did you select the wrong vintage of wine
I saw you working out in the yard, it would have looked nicer if you'd worked hard
You make good money but it's never enough, would working a second job be so tough
Our house has carpet, have you seen the neighbor's next door, let's buy one with a marble floor
Your love making, once fair, has become subpar, not nearly as good as our neighbor Renoir
