There's A Time Poem by Suryendu Chaudhury

There's A Time

There's a time my friend
when youth shall admire youthful beauty,
There's a time my friend
when serving family becomes foremost duty.

There's a time my friend
when money becomes hard to afford,
There's a time my friend
one has to fight against odds.

There's a time my friend
when success shall be at hands,
There's a time my friend
prosperity in close proximity may stand.

There's a time my friend
when hairs may turn grey,
There's a time my friend
when one may find a longer day.

There's a time my friend
when one may desire to sleep,
There's a time my friend
tears may cease to weep.

There's a time my friend
when one may feel none,
There's a time my friend
the end may seem to have begun.

There's a time my friend
when eyes may close,
There's a time my friend
for a perfect repose.
