They Accepted Me Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

They Accepted Me

Rating: 5.0

In the stormy evening,
I was compelled
To take shelter
In an old and dilapidated house,
The atmosphere was
Dark and mysterious,
They whispered to each other
In their own way,
I began to wait anxiously,
Finally they accepted me
As their true friends.

To accept a stranger is hard for the family members to decide. The character of a person is always questionable when he is a stranger . The acceptance is indeed heartwarming and very noble act A very interesting and thought provoking poem.
