They All Land Poem by Ragy Sandid

They All Land

I want to take off
Somewhere in the sky
I don't care where
I have no reason why

Somehow the sky is steady
Instead of a shaky ground
That keeps my feet ready
But keeps me magnet bound

I want to look from on high
And see change as scenery
Imagine as if I'd died
And life is no longer dreary

Every time I see one
I imagine it's taking off
I know that's the one I'm on
With me laughing it off

They all take off without me
‘cause there's reason to stay
Isn't there anyone to doubt me?
Tell me: Choose your fate and make your way

But there isn't. There're only chains
Made of mercury they never leave
They're sinews of pleasure plus pain
The same reason I dream is what I believe

No matter. Every time I see the air
And see a flight hovering high and
I know they're not flying anywhere
The ones I see: They all land.

most of the time when I see the birds fly, I really feel like being in their place, this poem gave me the same sense again.
