They Are Down There

Lazy throngs of people
Lying at the bottom, next to the steps
Leading up Mount Kilimanjaro,
Many of them in the original congregation,
Few are rendered lucky,
The king being the occupier of the peak,
The few in tow above the lazy bunch
Lucky in tow to the one and only,
Lazy throngs of people
Laughing at the scattering of stars
Above the night sky,
Disdained by every successful person,
Because they are down there!

No wonder they are called jacks,
Jacking the cars and
Remain asunder all the time,
They are said to be ambitionless,
Thinking less of the sky,
The sky is the limit!
So they say,
They are down there!

They are the victims of indifference
Because opportunities are limited in the pyramid
Thus the excuse,
‘There are no opportunities for many people'
Let's be the foundation
And let them rejoice and merry make,
So that we can leave and let them be…….

Opportunities are gallow
They are there for the picking
Throngs of spectators praise heroes
Not fond of clamouring for glory themselves
They enjoy the trophy
When it's in the hands of their heroes
They feel satisfied but they remain there,
At the bottom of the pyramid!

They fail to compete for the trophy,
And thus they prefer the nurturing role
Which the heroes enjoy with modicum gratitude
They are there at the bottom of the pyramid
