They have thrown off their scent by lying.
Telling untruths to avoid detection
They muzzle any dog that might bark
Or smell out a different trail.
And hold celebrations of a newfound freedom.
While expending energy and time
On those who'll be gone as soon as adequately -possible.
They are wolves in sheep's clothing,
But predominantly other wolves, much more selfish snigger.
At their expense.
They have thrown off their scent by lying.
But detection isn't necessary for the lied to.
A scent like theirs is never lost,
And they were already in possession of this well-known Duplicitous accustomed truth.

It's a ruse that works only on the deceiver.

They're hoping, praying one day to find a true believer.
