They Come... Poem by Alanna Flynn

They Come...

They come from every direction.
Thousands of people just wanting to dance.
With them, they bring messages of peace and equality.

There are many hopeful kids that await sunshine and growth.
They hang around, sharing views and smiles, stories and styles.
Some are stuck, trying to enter Utopia.

The rain falls, but we don't stop moving!
We watch families at fests, with their young ones, their loved ones, waiting for the moment.
There are flowing dresses and tapestries, blending as one.

The wind blows me over, but when ONE moves...
We ALL do.

Beauty in thoughts.
Not knowing left from right.
But we do know that to find the stage just follow the lights.
