They Want Them Gone Poem by Randy McClave

They Want Them Gone

They want them gone because of their race
They want then gone because of their gender,
And they want them gone because they don't say grace
Their beliefs they want them to surrender.

They want them gone because they see fear
They want them gone because they are poor,
And they want them gone because they are queer
They don't want them here anymore.

They want them gone because how they voted
They want them gone because they didn't support a rebellion,
And they want them gone when facts they quoted
They want them gone because they are not a hellion.

They want them gone because they are an immigrant
They want them gone because how they worship and pray,
And they want their leaving to be most imminent
The want them gone from their U.S.A.
