Thin Air Above Me Poem by Avik Datta Gupta

Thin Air Above Me

The thin air above beckons me
Head over heels I touch the ground
It closes my eyes to see
Nearness challenges oblivions to be found
An unseen breeze fondles my hair
In opposition to my mind’s solitude
Rancorous thoughts gets riddance to despair
All bitterness finds little sweetnesses rude
Bending all rules to straighten the rulers
Obvious compasses reinvents yet another wheel
Vanity gets killed..modesty the killer
Enabling estranged radiance to give the feel..
Mind's simplicity mean more than biased, tagged matter
Endured willingness mean more than meaningless chatter
