Thinking Of Someone Else. Poem by Carl Roussell

Thinking Of Someone Else.

Rating: 5.0

I thought about you,
I thought about us,
I must have been
thinking of someone else.

Because when I held you,
felt the warmth of your skin,
where were you?

Once I reached for you,
tried to pull you in,
you held on just
so you weren't alone.

And when I kissed you,
felt your lips on mine,
where were you?

Thinking of someone else.
