Thinking Sunny Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Thinking Sunny

Thinking sunny

When asked of people who
-impacted my life, way
-I mention the teachers
-who taught me
-in class or at home
-even those or the roads…

I've always had respect
-for "Great Avicenna".

But never stop to
-despise and criticize
-his talk of Zakaria
- (Founder of Alcohol,)
- (His teacher…)

How can a student
-go against own teacher?

Then laugh loud
-when recall
-my female professor
-she talked of "Quartet"
-as well as
-the "Modern literature."

She, herself, musician
-and partly a singer
-lived in her cubicle
-chained in thoughts
-limited to what taught
- (profession! ! !)

But having podium
-and the loudspeaker
-took herself for a sun
-in darkest time of night.

Do I have the rights to
-despise and criticize
-my master; Avicenna?
