Thinking Through Music And Rhythms Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Thinking Through Music And Rhythms

These days moving forward, wanting more of an interior poetical
world to come into being, loving to think through music and
rhythms while coming up with poetry.

An intense depth of joy unfolding each and every time, being
surrounded entirely with music, blocking out everything else,
not wanting it to move into a forcefield of discovery.

One that abides interiorly with a burning yearning that pushes
all else to the side, wanting only to be at peace in the very
essence of this creative being.

An intense love for an interior island where this poet can
instantly attain peace and serenity, leaving the world behind
in order to write poetry and compose classical music.

Singularly wanting to stay within the loneliness of this very
poetical being, tears being folded neatly and stored within a
broken heart.

Opened up only when writing about heartache, sorrow, sadness
and loss, words from without have no meaning, never touching
what's being felt within.

Looking about silently, taking heartfelt concepts and writing
them into many possibilities of poetry quietly and quickly,
lest they disappear or expire.
