Thirst Poem by Zyw Zywa

Thirst

Wherever I go, always
will my journey end

on the shore of a sea
into which the land flows
with a view of infinite

amniotic fluid that gives life
makes everyone's blood flow
and carries your seed through

trenches, over mountains and valleys
to the hereafter, it fills
my cells, my breasts

round with joy
quenches my daily thirst
and drowns my worries

I catch it from the sky
and lift it from wells
