The Blessed Night Poem by Zywa Zywa

The Blessed Night

Rating: 5.0

Mary was pregnant
with God, a story
can't be more beautiful
and you think of yourself

as the prophet you want to be
The similarity strikes you
as an idea, an inspiration

in a silent, holy night
in which angels descend
praising God, singing peace

of the birth star
in which you want to be awake
under the palm tree

bending its branches
giving everything, fruit
and a source welling up
between its roots

Though Christmas has gone now and the new Year is starting already 15 days long, but this is still a mesmerizing poem, from your thoughtful creative mind, the talent from God. God loves you and us all and He loves this most touching poem either. So finest feel reading this time and again, Zywa! God's Blessings be upon you.

A most beautiful poetry about the blessed Birth all times, a touching poem about The Blessed Night. I have enjoyed time and again this lovely poem. Thank you so much for sharing your senses in this poem. G.B.U. Still Happy Cosy Christmas days and a Healthy and Blessed 2019. Even Christmasdays have passed, the New Year has broken, I am still celebrating Jesus´Birth. Sounds mad, but I am just a sane and ordinary enjoying poetess.

Zywa, Love this Story and especially the imagery you create in my mind on so many levels in the last two stanzas...under the palm and birthing the fruit between it's roots. Beautfully written. Thank you, Gio
