Thirty Seven Years Poem by Juan Olivarez

Thirty Seven Years

You turn my grey skies into blue,
You let sunshine through the haze.
You make me happy, thats what you do,
You bring joy to all my days.

You are the sparkle in my eyes,
I know thats been said before.
You are the ketchup on my fries.
You are the waves pounding my shore.

You are the wind kissing the trees,
You are the birds that sing so sweet.
You are the clouds borne on the breeze,
You are my drum keeping the beat.

You are my sunshine through the rain,
You are my eyes through which I see.
You are my pill to ease the pain,
You are everything to me.

12/14/10 Alton Texas Happy anniversary Elvira, I will always love you.
