This Cloaken Shroud. Poem by Graham Jones

This Cloaken Shroud.

Rating: 4.5

The more and more I do contrive
To try and keep my brain alive
I am beset with stumbling blocks
Across my path like granite rocks

That spark of life, The sudden thrill
To prod or pierce or jolt my will
Instead I walk inside a cloud
Surrounded by this cloaken shroud

That mists my eyes, and presses down
To steal my smile, replaced with frown
To leave me in this limbo state
Devoid of love, or even hate

Yet still I stand my ground and fight
This thing I know that can't be right
That somehow I will find away
To brighten up the coming day.

Cool poem! Good Feeling, just alittle dark for me.

an amazing inner narrative the honesty uplifting as is the courage for who has not lived in the cave no light in sight yet to go on because our duty is to gather joy into our heart a fine poem
