This Evil Inside.. Poem by Rick Adriolo

Standing proud and tall but as all
One day even I will take the fall
It's just beginning I admit
but already I can see it
Into darkness I will give up control
The biggest illusion of all
I can feel it, taste it and smell it
And as I do so I learn to embrace it..

From that day evil will be part of my soul
It will keep me from being whole
And if someone does me wrong
I will let him or her suffer long
Because to me, it matters not
This is one thing that should not be forgot..
