This Is An Age Of Displacement And Dislocation Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

This Is An Age Of Displacement And Dislocation

Where were we born,
Where did we get schooled,
Where did we come to,
Displaced and dislocated to
Forgetting our past,
Connections of nativity, birth and memory
Dislocating the self,
Disconnecting with history and linkage
Adding to our woe and anxiety,
Loss and bewilderment
Walking down the memory lanes
Of thought, reflection and idea,
Revisiting them for a narrative
Stitched for to be re-told or forgotten?
