This Is My Life
I know who I am
I’m smart, caring and a learner
This is what life gave me
I’m suppose to live it
I have to be strong
Very strong
This is what life gave me
I’m suppose to live it
Like it
And appreciate it
It may be sometime different
Complicated and unfair
I just got to live with it
This is my life
Even when people judge me
I don’t expect to judge me badly
This is my life
And I’m going to make it whatever I want to be
No one will tell me how to control it
This is my life
not ours

Love and life are only one...You spoke your mind and heart...You did the right thing, nothing to regret, however, if anything beautiful comes across your life, you can not afford to ignore or regret..since life is only one...that is...You cannot afford to become a victim of your own shadow...there is light at the end of the tunnel....well penned poem, Gloria, keep it up!
