This Is Our Sin Poem by Neela Nath Das

This Is Our Sin

Rating: 5.0

We do not allow her to live,
Never do we give chance to
A baby girl of even two months
To stay alone.
We steal their childhood
We steal their dream,
We choke them
Until they breath their last.
And the boy, who once stole
Out of utter hunger,
And begged his life.
We lynched him and
Left his body on to get rotten.
We torture our Earth,
We torture our Mother,
We drive away men and women
To get their land, wealth
By the name of religion.
How long the soil of Earth endure
This injustice, how long!
There will be money for us all
There will be food a lot,
There will be big building to live
But none of us to enjoy.
The fruits of our own Karma
Will throw us into our self made graveyard.

Performing bad Karma we commit sins. But we should be careful always and perform right Karma. A girl child should be given freedom to live, learn and express her thought. No one should steal childhood of girl children. We pollute our environment and we torture our Mother Earth and this is so sad. This poem is very thought provoking. We should clean the environment. According to we give, we receive. Wonderful message is transferred through this excellent poem.
