This Is What I Need To Carry In My Heart Poem by Mohammad Younus

This is what I need to carry in my heart,
Love, the untouchable treasure from The Love.

I got to bypass the never ending needs,
Of my Demanding Nafs to be perfect in love.

I must hold the trust that Allah offered,
To the heavens and the earth
and the mountains,
But they declined to bear this heavy trust.

Let me bear it, and prove myself,
That I am not unjust and ignorant.

Allah looks lovingly at me,
And calls me back to Him constantly
I am brain washed by the toxic nafs and
bad Gurus,
Telling me duality is right.

I am chosen by Allah in eternity,
To see His everlasting beauty within me
and in all His creations.

I ask Allah to keep open His true beauty,
Before my sight and all around me.

I musn't allow my nafs to dictate me,
What I should do and consider as true.

I am connected to Allah always,
The fount where the beauty comes from.
