This Life Poem by Paul Warren

This Life

Rating: 5.0

We asked for this life
So very long ago
When we were young
And everything seemed possible

The storms we endured
And the people we knew
Are still there imprinted
On our souls forever more

So twilight has come for us now
And memories take their place
Do not regret the hard things
But remember the lessons learnt from them.

Life seizes all notwithstanding its fall. Nice poem.
