This Life's A Byway Poem by james watkin

This Life's A Byway

This life's a byway, back off
Which mist-swirling road
Leads back in turn, as must
Homeward to Heaven.
Day-trekker's; no less intriques.
Wilder-sounding goad!
Scenic what out to, each side
Earth-views open.
