This Loneliness Poem by Susheela Alexiose

This Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

Oh this loneliness, this loneliness
That breaks my heart into a million pieces
That shakes my body like a storm
That makes my lips tremble like an aspen leaf

Oh this loneliness, this loneliness
When tears flows like a river
That wets my cheeks and chest
That makes my head split open

Oh this loneliness, this loneliness
That eats me alive like cancer cells
That crushes my spirit
That flames my body like light

Oh Abba, my father, come down
Hug me close to you
Cover me under your loving arms
Let your love surround me

Oh Abba, my father, come down
Make me dwell in the secret place of the Most High
That I may set my love upon you
All the days of my life.
