This Quiet, It Crackles Poem by james watkin

This Quiet, It Crackles

Rating: 5.0

This Quiet, it crackles
Under our feet!
Leaf-rusty, nutty.
Not so discreet!

With all these mutenesses
Treed hereabouts
Autumn's shocked, stiffened
With bird's song-bouts

Is clearer, heart-echoed
Expressed, twixt us
That harmonized for
Love's own chorus!

Amazing read and a bit thought-provoking. How beautiful is the silence and the concluding line is brilliantly worded. Thank you so much for sharing
