You had a love that was strong
But things have gone terribly wrong
You wonder if they'll be a second chance
To once again find romance

You've seen this happen to your friends
Happy beginnings, tearful ends
But you never throught you'd see the day
When divorce would come your way

Please know that it's alright to cry
Let those tears fall from your eyes
Take all the time that you need
Because your heart is going to bleed

You're not the first who's ever lost
This thing called love, comes at a cost
I know that it's nice nice
But most of us have paid that price

You'll pick yourself up and move on
The anger and pain will soon be gone
Before you know it they'll come a day
When tears no longer start your day

If you want to you will find
That love can be truly kind
For somewhere out there awaits a man
Who will come and gently take your hand

One day I hope you'll see
The similarities between you and me
You see I to have lost at love
So I know what you speak of

That is why you must let go
Give a new love a chance to grow
Just remember to take your time
Because in the end things work out fine

What you thought you'd never find
Now lives in your heart all the time
You found true love does exist
Right now you just can't resist

To scream out loud, I'm in love
All the way to the heavens above
This great new love that you have found
You know this time will stay around
