This Time No Noah's Ark Poem by Akhtar Jawad

This Time No Noah's Ark

Rating: 5.0

This time there will be no Noah, nobody will make an ark,
Global warming will raise the sea level, or from the space a shark,
It seems that nature has already developed a super race,
For centuries they had been looking for another place,
The lucky or unlucky survivals will be welcomed with laughter,
Come on unkind men, now avenge our slaughter!
In a zoo where they had locked the helpless animals,
To pass a prisoner's life! Yes, we all are criminals.
To take over the charge of earth, may come an alien,
Leave all my belongings sweetheart but a piece of paper and a pen!
Let us move to a zoo specially prepared for the selfish humans,
No prey, I shall pray, when this world will be ruled by the aliens.

Where did 'shark' come from for this story? ? ? The story of Noah's Ark was probably one reason I gave up my belief in 'God'. : ( or : )

Doom and gloom! Is that all you can preach, my friend? I shall lead the alien forces and you shall sit at my right side at our celebration banquet. bri ;)
