Those Eyes Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Those Eyes

Those eyes

Wish could have the eyes that
-are small and belong
-to the birds

In my mind, and guess I
-the blades of grass
-are like the palm trees
-to the birds; big and tall

But the birds fly high
-on their own, with no help
-better than man's plane,
-and can see the forests
-under feet and small

The birds are so great
-they are too capable
-I envy, am jealous

One of wishes is
-having their small eyes!
