Look up in the sky.
See the stars, bright in the night?
I don't, all I see is your beautiful face,
Lit the way I love it.
Look down at this lake.
See our reflection, starring at each others own.
I don't, all I see is your beautiful face,
Smiling back at me.
Look into my heart.
See the charred surface,
caused by my love for you.
I don't, all i see is your beautiful face.
But I can't see any more then that,
I can't see your own charred heart,
I won't hear our familys cheer,
I won't see our reflections meet,
I won't see those fireworks burning bright,
What I DO feel…
Those Famous Fireworks, ignite in our lips
i literally sat here and just said, 'wow'. great poem my friend, a perfect 10 from me.

This is amazing........ Another Great poem by a wonderful poet.. :)
You are such an inspiration to not just people younger but also older than you because of how well you write your poetry. You always grasp the reader's attention to your poem from the first verse and it is so deep that it will change people's hearts. Your love for that girl is amazing in this poem. saying that even though fireworks are beautiful all you can see is her. I wanted to keep reading eventhough it was at the end :) great job :) you're newest friend Summer
Adrian, this was wow for me as well. some fireworks are worth setting off, over an over an over... :)

Adrian, a much better write than some I read before. I like the way you covered each perception of your love for her and the expressions you made. Very good. Your friend Lynn
