Those Who Are Satirists, They Too Are Caricatured, Lampooned Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Those Who Are Satirists, They Too Are Caricatured, Lampooned

The art of satire
The satirists know it well
As they take to satirizing and satiric portraits,
Keep mocking with taunt and jibe,
Making fun of, presenting comically,
Creating the bubbles of humour,
Saying ironically with doublespeak
Unaware of it that somebody lies in wait
To satirize him too.

If you make a joke of me,
I too shall irrespective of it
That satire is corrective and reformative,
But satire is revengeful too
As the men satirized take it not lightly
And those who satirize are targetted in some respect.
