Though my hair be in little part white
And my brain labours still in civilization's fields
And unabated I still enunciate Principles
In these last years my strength diminished by the day
Four times have I entered hospital
And now
Instead of walking in a wheel chair I sit.
My state shall bring pity from hardest heart
I be resigned; though my works say otherwise.
May others from my dreams and woks benefit
Though I shall not ionic as it be.
