Thought-Pets Poem by james watkin

Thought-Pets

Have you thought-pets, dismaying
Whose handlers lead, to demean?
Itchy pant, leap and stray; in paw prints
Be-grimed, showing where they've been.

Of a warm breast's day-long nurse
Of golden brush's maintenance
Ideals are their pampered pedigree.
Each young girl's reassurance.
