All alone
Time to think
Striving
To understand
Make sense
Of us

Failing miserably
Makes no sense
Seems it was all
Make believe
A fairytale
All pretence

Swept along
So intense
The attraction
The flames of Hell
Could not distract me

Blindly driven
By passion
And lust
I happily discarded
Feelings of doubt

Ignoring
Gut instinct
To insanity
I succumb

Logic and good sense
Have deserted me
Shall i sink or swim
In the sea that i see

Two strokes
And a bubble
Out of my depth
Slowly drowning

Feeling so weak
Refuse to be beat
My intention now
Is to havoc wreak

Keep it in mind
And never forget
I'm stronger than you
In spirit
And mind

I'll say Aurivoir
Kiss you goodbye
But my love
Will still linger
Never goodbye
