Thoughts On A Misunderstanding Poem by Mike Snow

Words are very powerful tools,
they are the means to many different ends.
I like the spoken word because you can give it strength
and meaning above its worth with an inflection or look.
Equally, the kindest written phrase can bring anger
or hatred when used or received with the wrong intent.
When I write, I try to use the available words to their utmost,
but in the end, it is the reader that is the one who decides the meaning and intent, and how relevant it is to them.
