Thoughts On A Woman Poem by Mike Snow

Thoughts On A Woman

She is fire,
when I am freezing.
She is sunshine,
at my midnight.
She is a rose,
in my desert.
She is a tree,
that gives me shade.
She is the beach,
for my uneasy sea.
She is a bed,
when I am tired.
She is the nectar,
from which I will never be full.
This woman pushed through my armour
and won my mercenary heart.
Never to be lonely again,
and to die happy
in the knowledge of this woman,
is reward enough for me.
