Thoughts We Unlearn
Though we must unlearn
so much we were taught,
let’s try not to spurn
all concepts we bought
while we, young and foolish,
uncritically followed
all thoughts that were schoolish,
less solid than hollowed.
Instead let’s transform them
so those who conceived them
in error reform them,
as if we believed them.
