Three Friends Poem by Caleb Adegbite

Over there are Three Friends
with timeless grace they flock
but a time comes when each shall meet his end
for behind them, a shadow lurks.

The lucky ONE shall see the death once
for he will be the first to die

the other TWO shall set his stone,
with sour hearts and salty eyes.
The third will bear the darkest fate,
his long life, he shall come to hate
for when the second follows suit
he would have seen the end of two
but when himself shall go to ground,
none of his friends will be around..
