Three Women Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Three Women

Goddess Aphrodite was keen
To be a beauty queen
She bribed the event judge
Earned competitors' grudge
Trojan war started
Was she delighted?

Cleopatra came
She could tame
Royal horses
Tangent forces
Made her a queen
Venom took her, still she is in.

By the town of Pisa
Lives Monalisa
Da Vinci shows
Beauty owes
Its charms to totality
Not on physique or vanity.
