Through The Woods Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Through The Woods

Rating: 5.0

Strawberry red skies
when home beckons through sage woods
Pink love's going down
as dewdrops on purple rose
prior to the velvet close

Flowers follow me
their fantasy fragrances
recalling burnt gold
Beauty's dying once again
in throes of rapture and pain

A very well crafted Tanka depicting the wonders and beauty of nature. The lovely and compelling images made me.at close range with the strawberry red skies and the fragrant flowers.
