Thus Zarathustra, One Writes. Poem by RIC BASTASA

Thus Zarathustra, One Writes.

because it is a closed
room and there is no window
opened
because it is a dam where
water is confined on this
dry summer
because it is better left
unsaid as it hurts that much
when uttered
because of this storm and this
dangerous life
because the worm is hidden
upon those wet mounds
of the earth
because one cannot get out
from the bottle and one
has remained a fly withou
wings
because the heart is like
a bomb about to detonate
in those fields of love

thus Zarathustra, one writes.
