Thy Prison Poem by Jessel Jane Tevar Toring

Thy Prison

I am no escape,
I am no angel.
I own no truth,
I know no lie.
I am thy prison,
I bribed my fate;
Abandoned my faith
Defied all reason;
Entreated lie
As lie is truth.
And there are no angels
Nor will there be escape
From love. From me. From you.
