Ticket Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Ticket

Ticket

She called and informed me:
-Can you come earlier?
-doctor is now free.

I drove fast made it
-could not find a parking
-parked somewhere tactfully.

Rushed out and climbed up
-was let in promptly
-was done in no time so
-ran, returned to my

On windshield had a guest
-yellow card, penalty:
-here is private…

Suspected the guy there:
-did you write?

Explained the causes, justified
-no ear…he was rock
-when spoke was far worse
-he acted as bullet
-hot, silver…

Threw him a joke, left
-drove out, while in turn
-he approached
-warned me to be last time
-and took back the ticket

This poem is for him
-thank you
-for sensing
-and feeling
-possibly sympathy!
